Everything you need to know about the Jimmy Fund Walk: Your Way

What is the Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk: Your Way presented by Hyundai?
As a result of the of COVID-19 pandemic, we want the Jimmy Fund Walk to be safe for all participants. So rather than the normal Boston Marathon® course routes, all participants are asked to walk on October 4 in their own communities, wherever they would like— their local streets, a favorite trail, around their backyard, or even inside on a treadmill.

Will this year’s event still support Dana-Farber Cancer Institute?
Yes, yes, yes! Dana-Farber needs our help more than ever. Cancer patients are at-risk for COVID-19, so Dana-Farber has ramped up precautions to keep them safe and offer the same outstanding, compassionate care that makes Dana-Farber special. Your fundraising directly helps fund the critical needs of Dana-Farber during these difficult times.

Is there a registration fee?
Registration has been lowered to only $5. And required fundraising is now just $100 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under. We want to make this event accessible to as many people as possible!

How will I connect with the mission of the Jimmy Fund Walk virtually?
We have a lot planned for walkers this year. Throughout the summer and on Walk day, you will have access to exciting content, including patient stories, virtual town hall meetings, and some of your favorite Walk day traditions, including the Ribbon Wall.

How do I get started?
Start by registering today! It only takes a few minutes, then you will have access to great resources to help you begin your fundraising and training. And the Jimmy Fund Walk staff is always here for anything you need.

The Jimmy Fund Walk is together, wherever, against cancer.
